Poa Poa is a secluded place with a peaceful atmosphere and a beautiful sandy beach, making it the perfect destination for those seeking relaxation close to nature. In our private garden, there are four bungalows with eight double rooms, as well as a restaurant.
There is also a swimming pool, a sandy beach, beach beds, umbrellas, and hammocks available to guests. Additionally, there is a small spa on the premises where you can book a relaxing massage using local cosmetics.
The mangroves lining the beach separate the Poa Poa area from the publicly accessible beach, ensuring privacy. For those who prefer to sunbathe right by the ocean, umbrellas and sun loungers are available. Kiwengwa Beach is a favorite spot for tourists to take a stroll and mingle with locals. In the afternoons, you can observe everyday life unfolding: fishermen tending to their ngalawy (small fishing boats), children playing football, and local vendors offering coconuts or souvenirs. Here, you can truly immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Zanzibar.
Our rooms are adorned in a natural Zanzibar style, each equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom. They also boast splendid ocean views. Both bath and beach towels are provided.
